As a Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in managing project costs, providing cost estimates, and ensuring accurate financial forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost reports, cash flow, and contingency analyses to ensure accurate financial representation.
- Provide cost estimates and manage change orders to ensure project costs are accurately reflected.
- Monitor project costs, including committed and spent funds, to identify areas for cost optimization.
- Liaise with the HR Department to track billable office space and ensure accurate financial representation.
- Create accurate financial forecasts and ensure proper cost representation in reports.
- Prepare monthly project updates and review contractor payment certificates to ensure timely payment.
- Process invoices and create purchase orders using SAP to ensure efficient financial management.
- Follow change management processes and verify project costs to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or engineering.
- 5-10 years of cost management experience, with at least 3 years on large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in desktop applications, such as Excel and SAP.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
- Eligible to work in Spain and experience with large-scale energy projects.
