Job Summary
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the development of our blades activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing development projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams, and ensuring project results meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage development projects focused on blades activities, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, service, and installation teams to process project scope and ensure project success.
- Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development and escalate issues to relevant committees as needed.
- Evaluate project ideas and support them through approval.
- Coordinate necessary resources with line and project managers.
- Work with chief engineers and divisional management to coordinate technical aspects and risk management.
- Organize prototype tests and ramp-up activities in operational areas.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project management experience required, with PM certification preferred.
- Several years of experience in a comparable position.
- Excellent MS Office skills, including MS Project Server.
- Experience in an ERP and PDM system is advantageous.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good English language skills, with beneficial German and Spanish language skills.
- High quality awareness and assertiveness.
- Intercultural experience necessary.
- Willingness to travel within Europe (10%).
