Lead Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Development Educator to join our team at Ironhack. As a Lead Instructor, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic experience of our Web Development Bootcamp, teaching in-person and online, and managing the success of the class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach in-person, three days a week, and online, two days a week
- Manage the success of the class and facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community
- Challenge students to think strategically and inspire them to identify their passions and drive their own continued learning
- Provide all class-related data to the Project Manager for client reporting purposes
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a developer
- Fluent in Spanish, with all in-company communication in English
- Passionate about Web Development and sharing knowledge
- Strong communication skills and ability to capture people's attention
- Organized, reliable, communicative, and open to feedback
Technologies and Skills:
- Understanding of computer programming principles
- Follow Engineering best practices to solve problems
- Responsive Web Design, Web Design (HTML/CSS frameworks), and Strong JavaScript knowledge
- Node/Express, MongoDB & Mongoose, and any JavaScript front-end framework (React preferred)
- Version Control with Git & GitHub and Gen AI Microsoft Copilot
