We're seeking a Director, Clinical Supplies Management to join us and provide strategic direction and operational oversight for Clinical Supplies Management to the global ICON organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a global team to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction
- Recruiting, leading, and mentoring staff across multiple global locations
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and providing governance of such relationships
- Developing and selling client-focused solutions related to global clinical supplies
- Providing oversight of clinical supply vendors
Key responsibilities:
- Providing recommendations on the strategic direction and priorities for the Clinical Supplies function
- Executing on the strategy, and adapting as required, including market and competitor assessments
- Ensuring that all clinical trial projects are delivered to quality expectations in a timely manner while adhering to ICON or Sponsor SOPs, and in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
- Demonstrating oversight through the regular reporting of metrics
- Driving functional activities and closely collaborating with Finance to manage departmental budget and achieve targeted revenue and margins
- Building customer relationships and interacting with customers in a consultative, operational, and business development capacity
