Job Description

At Empresa reconocida, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to support our Finance Manager in planning, organizing, and managing the entire process of Purchase to Pay.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Accounts Payable Process Management: Prepare and review the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.
  2. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Control and archive accounts payable documentation and maintain historical records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  3. Expense Management: Analyze invoice/expense reports, record entries, and charge expenses to accounts and cost centers.
  4. Payment Processing: Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying vendor information, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
  5. Vendor Management: Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  6. Reporting and Audit Support: Collaborate and facilitate the necessary data for reporting and audit purposes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  7. Intercompany Agreements: Collaborate to ensure all intercompany agreements are in place to support intercompany operations.
  8. Tax Compliance: Collaborate closely with tax specialists in the preparation of relevant tax filings related to Accounts Payable, including transfer pricing.
  9. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
  1. Education: BA/BS degree in Finance and Accounting or Information Technologies specializing in Accounting.
  2. Experience: Two years of work experience in a related field is desirable but not required.
  3. Language Skills: Proficiency in English, French, or German (at least one of them).
  4. Skills: Highly organized person, with excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills, experience with NetSuite, and good command of financial systems controls.
  5. Availability: Availability to travel and work across global time zones and locations.
