Global Solution Architect for SAP Transportation Management

Job Description:
To strengthen our Solution Architect's team, we are looking for a Global Solution Architect for SAP Transportation Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and derive solutions in our SAP ecosystem related to transportation management.
- Support business process lead on process design and propose the best design for the target integrated S/4 ecosystem.
- Work closely with the E2E Stream Lead and enable him to secure sustainable and maintainable solutions.
- Challenge business on status-quo by proposing state-of-the-art digital solutions and bring process and system simplification, harmonization, efficiency, and automation to the organization.
- Transpose business requirements into SAP functional- and technical specifications and be responsible from ideation via design and build to support.
- Take leadership to propose appropriate solutions in SAP to satisfy business requirements, including cross-functional alignment with peer architects.
- Oversee and facilitate test case preparation, unit testing, and integration testing end-to-end.
- Further improve the template during its operations and be responsible to review fit/gap analysis for any request for change and secure fit for purpose and backward compatibility.
- Responsible to ensure testing, defect management, training, and data migration during any change.
- As a Global Solution Architect, be the mentor and guide for any future deployment and solution change management.
- Responsible for solution documentation, including process design in the central process repository in Solman, for any changes and secure governance is in place.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or any related discipline.
- 5+ years of solution architecture experience in a customer-facing role with SAP Transportation Management, including integration to up-stream and down-stream processes.
- Integration experience with external parties like carriers, BN4L, and similar.
- Sound experience in OO ABAP, ability to debug, and mastering API integrations.
- Solution Architecture experience in global integrated template projects.
- Experience in designing and customizing SAP TM, as well as experience in WRICEF object design.
- Experience in SAP S/4 Hana, SAP SD, and SAP MM, as well as LE-TRA.
- Leader skills, including experience in leading and coordinating onsite & offshore teams.
- Knowledge and experience in main global Transportation Management processes and their patterns related to an Industrial Engineering Company concerns.
