Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Specialist to join our team in the Financial Risk Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing risk exposures, designing strategies, and procuring insurance to protect assets and mitigate liabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses and optimize insurance coverage
- Analyze and critique risk allocation, indemnity, insurance, and other contract provisions
- Negotiate and implement insurance and reinsurance placement structures
- Develop and advise on the implementation of risk and insurance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
Requirements
- Willingness to relocate to a new location
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance or risk management from an accredited program
- Professional certification in insurance or risk management is preferred
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry or a major corporate organization
