Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager, Technical Services, Critical Care at Edwards Lifesciences, you will be responsible for managing the service center operations to support business and quality objectives. This role requires a strong leader who can drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, engage staff morale, and ensure employees' safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the work of assigned service center team.
  • Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, engage staff morale, and ensure employees' safety.
  • Take action and be proactive to ensure the service center achieves and/or exceeds Technical Service Center operations metrics (e.g., cycle times, backlog, spare parts inventory levels) while ensuring tactical execution of business objectives with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage plant operations including execution of annual operating plan including maintaining adequate line capacity with ability to resolve and prevent diverse issues while meeting cost and quality targets.
  • Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.
  • Negotiate solutions with cross-functional groups (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations Engineering) for continuous improvement.
  • Manage technical service project activities (e.g., BEx initiatives and global technical service projects) with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables to the business within established schedule, scope and quality objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with work experience and a demonstrated track record in technical service operations management Required or Master's Degree or equivalent in related field with work experience and a demonstrated track record in technical service operations management Preferred
  • Proven successful project management leadership skills.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and manufacturing systems (e.g. JDE).
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
