Opportunity Summary:

Zigup Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Panel Technician to join our team at our busy workshop in Trafford Park. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the repair of complex panel damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the repair of complex panel damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to BSi and Thatcham standards.
  • Mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve exceptional efficiency and productivity, driving the business forward.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Time-served or qualified ATA equivalent as a Panel Beater/Panel Technician/Bodyshop Repair Technician with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and mentoring junior technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
