We're seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to provide secretarial support to our Counsel in the Iberia Region and assist with basic legal advice related to commercial agreements. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and develop valuable skills in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This internship offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of our International Legal Department in Spain. As a Legal Intern, you'll be responsible for:

  • Drafting, preparing, proofreading, editing, and reviewing contracts based on standard Abbott contract templates in collaboration with Legal Counsel.
  • Handling corporate files and maintaining accurate records.
  • Negotiating standard agreements, including terms and conditions, with internal clients and external partners.
  • Organizing secretarial work independently, managing internal and external correspondence in Spanish and English.
  • Supporting Legal Counsels in their daily work and conducting research on various legal topics as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Law Degree from a Spanish University or comparable education.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with a focus on follow-up and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and Outlook, with fluency in Spanish and strong English language skills.
