We are a young startup with ~25 employees in three locations, driving R&D through Automated Interpretable Reasoning (AIR) - a verifiably truthful AI model built for reasoning in science and engineering.

About the Role

To propel our company forward, we are seeking an experienced HR and Operations Manager. This key position will play a vital role in shaping our organizational structure and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent, manage the entire hiring process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Hiring Management: Manage hiring contracts and our workforce management system (Rippling), own Rippling for EU, and set up a comprehensive hiring process.
  • Operational Excellence: Define operational processes and policies, manage onboarding of new employees, improve onboarding processes, and establish performance management.
  • Office Management: Oversee office finances, manage basic accounting tasks related to office payments, costs, and employee needs, handle company credit cards, permissions, payments, and bank account management.
  • Communications and Branding: Maintain the company website's updated content and design changes in collaboration with our web designer, create and schedule regular posts on social media platforms for employer branding.
  • Logistics and Travel: Organize visits for our US and Canada teams to Barcelona, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and team-building activities.
Requirements
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, with confident written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience: Proven experience in HR, specifically in hiring processes and a solid understanding of Spanish labor law and labor contracts.
  • Finance and Logistics: Proficient in handling basic office finances and accounts, and proven ability to manage logistics processes and activities for large groups.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience working with cross-cultural and remote teams.
Terms and Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 4-5 days/week appointment at the Axiomatic AI Europe office in Castelldefels.
  • Remote Work: Partially remote work will be permitted.
  • Peak Periods: More hours may be required during peak times due to sprints.
  • Compensation Package: Competitive compensation package.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
