Job Title: Telemedicine Psychiatrist Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as a Telemedicine Psychiatrist Specialist. This part-time position will be based in one of our hubs and involves leading technical support for mental health clinicians remotely through confidential and secure telemedicine solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and supervision to field teams on psychiatric care management and mhGAP interventions.
  • Support the development and implementation of practical tools to improve psychiatric care quality.
  • Contribute to the global network of MSF Telemedicine Specialists using store and forward telemedicine services.
  • Collaborate with regional technicians, MH advisors, and other stakeholders to improve psychiatric activities and outcomes.
  • Review and support estimations for International Medical Orders (IMO).
  • Perform gap analysis and provide feedback to projects on psychiatric care quality.
  • Develop and maintain an updated database of psychiatric cases discussed/consulted.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a Diploma in Psychiatry from a qualified university program and MSF experience as a MD, MAM, or MHAM. Fluency in English and French is required, while Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic are considered assets. Previous experience in delivering mhGAP trainings and supervision of GPs, as well as psychotherapy training, is highly valued.
