Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

At Adp, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely recording, classification, and reporting of accounting transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead accounting with expertise for critical and sensitive ADP processes, including cash accounting, cash forecasting, local taxes, and intercompany variance management.
  • Maintain ADP in compliance with all mandatory VAT obligations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting data.
  • Oversight and guidance of the Indian AP team regarding booking accuracy, system management, tax compliance, and payments timeliness.
  • Ownership of the day-to-day relationship with the bank regarding access management, payment execution, and allowed overdraft.
  • Post journals based on well-prepared support and present such support for scrutiny to management and auditors.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to a high level with strong support and reasoning.
  • Prepare and submit audit information to a professional standard.
  • Understand and work with the differences between US GAAP and Spanish GAAP.
  • Take on key projects for Spain, such as cash management Oracle module accounting automation and prepayment accounting automation.
  • Assist the Spain Chief Accountant with process and controls improvements.
  • Build close working relationships with the rest of the Spanish Finance team and auditors.
  • Work across the organisation's matrix structure, providing support to those who need it and obtaining information when required.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
