Head of Internal Controls

Scope Group is seeking an experienced professional to lead our internal control function, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our processes and procedures.
About the Role:- Develop and implement internal control processes and policies to maintain Scope Group's policies and procedures framework.
- Lead and manage the internal audit function, including audit planning, stakeholder management, fieldwork execution, reporting, and validation of remediated audit findings.
- Provide leadership and guidance on risk management, compliance, and internal audit matters.
- Collaborate with business unit management and the Audit Committee to ensure effective risk management and internal control.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience at a senior level in the financial services industry or a comparable regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, internal control systems, and corresponding regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in liaising with management and supervisory bodies, as well as managing corresponding boards and committees.
- Proven experience in building and operating internal control functions, ideally within a group structure.
