Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Consultant to join our team at SD Worx Belgium. As a Senior Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for processing and managing customer payroll in Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather information on hours worked for each employee and calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc.
- Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks.
- Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
- Handle requests and potential complaints from customers.
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
- Proven experience as payroll specialist.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field.
- Written and speaking proficiency in French.
- English will be used as a main communication language within the company.
- Ability to assess the user's situation, fundamental wishes and needs.
- Curiosity and a need to figure out how things work (investigate).
- Analytical thinking problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle complaints and challenging customers.
- Team player who is able to work efficiently and independently.
- Structured approach to working independently.
- Open to learning and having new experiences.
