About the Role

The Receptionist will be the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees at Nutanix. This role requires a professional, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to maintain a welcoming and efficient front office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls to relevant personnel according to company policies
  • Provide information to callers and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Monitor and manage the office main voicemail system
  • Greets and announces clients, applicants, and visitors with professionalism
  • Follow security procedures for checking in guests, suppliers, and other visitors
  • Contact host/company escorts as needed
  • Assist with scheduling lobby board room or other conference rooms as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception/lobby area
  • Request building and housekeeping services as required
  • Support employees and the administration team with special projects
  • Maintain a list of services, including transportation sources, accommodations, and referral contacts
  • Assist with the receipt of goods and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced business environment
  • Experience assisting in a multi-role environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to take initiative on various projects from multiple management and professional levels, demonstrating self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability, and creativity
