Accounting Professional

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform the monthly and annual accounting close process.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Keep updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial information.
  • Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Statutory Accounts of entities under scope.
  • Prepare monthly review and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Participate in accounting tasks and assist on finance projects such as integration of entities, implementation of new accounting treatments/standards, robotization and digitalization of tasks, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • Proven experience of minimum 5/6 years in general ledger accounting and financial roles.
  • In-depth knowledge in accounting policies and IFRS. Valuable Big 4 audit experience.
  • Proficient in SAP FI, with advanced skills in financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Croatian language is a must. Excellent command of English and Spanish.
