Senior Project Engineer

WOOD is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our discipline team, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities on major projects and reporting to the designated discipline lead or manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the coordination of engineering activities during project development
  • Coordinate the preparation of project specifications by discipline departments
  • Assist in preparing the coordination procedure and project execution plan
  • Interface with project teams and clients
  • Review and approve vendor drawings and equipment requisitions
  • Identify and follow up on contract changes
  • Prepare man-hour estimates to support contract changes
  • Assist in preparing monthly progress reports

Requirements:

  • Relevant diploma or degree in industrial or chemical engineering
  • Proven record of 5-10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Conversant with international codes and standards (ANSI, ASME, API, NFPA, etc)
  • Knowledge of Microstation, PDS, and SmartPlan3D
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish language skills
  • Valid European work permit
