We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team at Kerona Scientific. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the registration of plant protection products, biocides, biopesticides, fertilisers, plant biostimulants, and chemicals in the EU.

The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants, and test facilities to address regulatory queries. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory documentation to European regulatory authorities, following up on submissions to monitor progress, and responding to queries to ensure timely regulatory approvals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants, and test facilities to address regulatory queries
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory documentation to European regulatory authorities
  • Commissioning testing for regulatory purposes and liaising with test facilities/consultants
  • Preparing risk assessments to support product registrations
  • Reviewing upcoming industry guidance documents and providing recommendations or conclusions as appropriate

The ideal candidate will have a recognised 3rd level scientific qualification in biochemistry, toxicology, or ecotoxicology (MSc or PhD an advantage). Previous experience in a plant protection product or biocides regulation role is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will also possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise, and the ability to work on their own initiative.
