About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Project & Cost Management department. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects with purpose, ensuring that they align with the needs of society, the local community, and contribute positively to the neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead project management roles, taking responsibility for successful delivery of projects.
  2. Provide full project management duties to AECOM clients.
  3. Client-oriented with previous experience in consultancy firms in a PM role.
  4. Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Managers, Graduates, and Apprentices.
  5. Ensure all phases are managed and completed efficiently, on time, and to the client's satisfaction.
  6. Cost control of the project and Change Orders management.
  7. Provide experience with different types of contracts.
  8. Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
  9. Be the interface with AECOM clients.
  10. Manage the delivery of project management services, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
  11. Provide experience leading project management services during construction phases.

Requirements

  1. Passionate about delivering high-quality consulting services to clients.
  2. Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and program in a holistic way.
  3. Excellent IT skills and the ability to utilize current digital tools.
  4. Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  5. Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.
  6. Understanding of a variety of project types, sizes, and sectors. Data Centre and Hospitality sector experience would be advantageous.
  7. Ability to manage relationships effectively, identifying and resolving issues at the earliest possible opportunity.
  8. People management skills and the ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
  9. Accountable and responsible for own actions and those of your team.
  10. Ability to work under own initiative while working closely with the rest of the project management team.
