**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Design Engineer for Exterior Systems** to join our team at Plastic Omnium. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and architecture of our exterior systems meet the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure product design and architecture meets customer quality requirements, including weight, recycling, and specifications.
  • Manage CAD resources to fulfill design requirements and ensure PO Design Standard are implemented.
  • Conduct CTQ convergence, isostatism file analysis, and style surface analysis.
  • Develop and pilot the design of parts and products, analyzing feasibility and functional specifications.
  • Manage the daily technical flow of information with CAD office and Tier 2 suppliers.
  • Check and validate the quality of CAD files received from customers, suppliers, and design offices.
  • Ensure regular updates of 3D data, 2D drawings, and parts' attributes within the PO CAD file database.
  • Liaise with toolmakers and injection tooling engineers to optimize part design.
  • Participate in design reviews, validate 2D/3D drawings, and provide feedback to suppliers and EPM.
  • Manage CAD file exchanges with customers, respecting internal standards and customer specifications.
  • Participate in the study and validation of checking fixtures.

**Requirements**

  • Strong background in design engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD software and design principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
