About the Role

The Architecture and Deployment Lead is a critical position within Managed Solutions, responsible for overseeing and managing both the architecture and deployment functions. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall MS infrastructure architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the product organization and the company's business goals.
  • Drive a team of architects and deployment specialists, providing guidance and support in designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs, evaluate emerging trends, and make recommendations for infrastructure enhancements.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure deployments, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to project timelines.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage cross-functional teams of managers, providing strategic guidance and direction.
  • Drive innovative architectures in line with the latest technology trends and ensure completeness of architectural changes that meet Product Management and/or Operations Requirements.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, excellence & collaboration with other business functions.
  • Oversee the MS Platforms lifecycle, fostering the adoption of harmonized architectures based on Digital Services where possible.
  • Ensure best practices are captured and fed into the architectural design process.
  • Provide strategic direction in planning/execution.
  • Make people feel safe, that they belong, and they matter.
  • Leverage networks to attract, develop, and retain a sustainable, diverse talent pipeline to meet strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with Product and pre-sales areas to ensure that non-standard deals can be deployed without harming the availability, security, or efficiency of our platforms.
  • Oversee the deployment of the MS platforms related to product and services.
  • Ensure that standardized processes and procedures are followed across all regions.
  • Gather feedback from operations to create demands for improving operational processes by the governance team.
  • Set and manage budget for own team or area of responsibility.
What We Expect from You
  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience in Managed Services, specifically in leadership roles related to Architecture, Deployment, and Engineering.
  • This includes a strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of networking, cloud computing, virtualization, and storage technologies.
  • Proven years of experience in operations/engineering financial planning and execution, with a focus on CAPEX and OPEX efficiency.
  • Built or led a high-performing, healthy, highly engaged team and instilled a service mindset.
  • Experience in building platforms and services using automation capabilities.
