Job Summary: As an HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition and Onboarding at Marriott International, you will be responsible for supporting the management and leadership team with handling Human Resources issues. This includes assisting employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures, monitoring and supporting managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues, and coordinating applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining applicant flow, drug screen, orientation, and transfer request logs;
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems;
- Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures;
- Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property;
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals;
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent;
- At least 1 year of related work experience;
- No supervisory experience required.
