Project Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Madrid office. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all project activities, ensuring excellent understanding of processes, documentation, and communication. You will be accountable for the success of our projects in terms of quality, time, and budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from definition/scope through delivery and post-go live
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain project plans, project timelines, and project schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and updated on project progress
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Learn the BOARD technology features and characteristics, using this knowledge to ensure all project deliverables are of high quality and meet client expectations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, including liaising with technical resources and ensuring they have the necessary information to deliver project requirements
  • Train and coach team members in project management, while monitoring team performance and taking corrective actions if needed
  • Project administration and documentation
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project
  • Coordinate, attend, and facilitate project and steering meetings
  • Ensure that project actions/risks/issues are effectively handled to time
  • Invoice Professional Services and ensure on-time payments
  • Liaise with internal and client staff at all levels, including project stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working in a similar role (preferably with BI or CPM solutions)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project team members
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in managing Transformation Projects, preferably within the retail industry, CPG, or manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French, and/or German (considered a plus)
  • PM certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, SCRUM (considered a plus)
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, data visualization, real-time analytics, and multi-dimensional databases
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or related field
  • Ability to travel (mainly domestic)
