Senior Data Scientist for Predictive Analytics

About the Role
GMV is a leading technological group with extensive experience in the development of innovative solutions for the transportation sector. We are expanding our Intelligent Transport Systems team to participate in public transport projects and are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the data infrastructure and databases for our transportation projects. You will also be working on the development and optimization of ETL processes, analyzing data to identify trends, and generating information and visualizations to support our operations and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for discovering and implementing machine learning models to predict trends and behaviors in the transportation sector. Key Responsibilities
• Design, construction, and maintenance of the data infrastructure and databases.
• Development and optimization of ETL processes to integrate, transform, and load data.
• Analysis of data to identify trends, perform statistical analysis, and generate information and visualizations.
• Discovery and implementation of machine learning models to predict trends and behaviors.
Requirements
• Experience in implementing and deploying predictive models in production environments (Python, FastAPI, .NET Core, C++, etc.).
• Knowledge of ETL transfers and database platforms.
• Statistical analysis and understanding of machine learning principles and techniques.
• Technical fundamentals of optimization techniques (non-convex optimization with gradient descent, heuristics, mixed-integer linear programming, discrete optimization, etc.).
