About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Developer to join our team at Kongsberg Gruppen, a world-leading supplier of maritime solutions. As a Software Test Developer, you will be part of the Integration and System Test Department, responsible for developing new and innovative ways of testing to ensure our complex systems meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore, learn, and analyze complex systems to create innovative tests in collaboration with the test team.
- Develop and improve the test strategy together with test architects.
- Automate testing by creating/improving test systems and scripting tests.
- Execute tests, automated, manual, and exploratory.
- Design, build, and maintain test environments.
- Strive for continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, cybernetics, or a related field.
- Experience and interest in software development and testing, particularly with large and complex systems.
- Programming skills, with Python being an advantage.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, Grafana, and Prometheus is an advantage.
- Maritime systems experience is an advantage.
- High technical understanding and ability to learn.
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written English.
