Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our team at Balearic Marine Hub in Palma de Mallorca. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of vessels using a variety of composite materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to boat hulls using composite techniques, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to industry standards.
  • Fabricate composite components, such as decks and hulls, as required, utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques and materials.
  • Apply protective coatings and finishes to boats, guaranteeing a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
  • Comply with regulations and safety standards in the marine industry, maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to company policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum academic level: Completion of a Composite course or equivalent.
  • Minimum experience: Experience in a related position, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Languages: Spanish is a requirement, with English and German being a plus.
  • Other Requirements: Candidates who have completed the Castro Composites Course would be an asset.
