Job Summary

Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and responsible Lifeguard to join our team at the Castillo Hotel Son Vida a Luxury Collection Hotel Mallorca. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pools.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of alertness and vigilance while on duty, observing the pool area and responding promptly to any emergencies.
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
• Perform regular checks on pool equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
• Monitor and control the pH and chlorine levels in the pool, ensuring they are within safe limits.
• Conduct regular inspections of first aid kits and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Follow company procedures and policies, reporting any incidents or concerns to the supervisor or Spa Manager.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Lifeguard or in a similar role.
• Hold a valid Lifeguarding certification, specifically for pool environments.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and operation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (knowledge of German is an asset).
