Controlling Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controlling Associate to join our global finance team. As a Financial Transactions Specialist, you will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual closing processes.

• Record and update daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income, and expenses.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between the company's records and bank statements.
• Assist in the monthly and annual closing process by preparing reports and making necessary account adjustments.
• Analyze accounting accounts to detect inconsistencies or errors and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• File and organize accounting documents such as invoices, payment receipts, and other financial records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting laws and regulations.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant financial variances.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues, such as billing discrepancies or pending payments.

• Proven experience in recording and updating accounting entries, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end closings.
• Strong skills in analyzing accounts and preparing accurate financial reports.
• Experience in organizing and managing accounting documents.
• Knowledge of applicable tax and accounting regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Full fluency in English; another language would be a plus.
