Job Overview
The Acca Careers company is seeking a Senior / Manager Financial Controller based in Madrid to coordinate the preparation of group forecasts and annual budget. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years in the Transaction Services department of a Big 4; or with previous Big 4 experience plus experience as a Financial & Business Controller in an important international company.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze deviations vs budget / previous month / last year of P&L, Working Capital, Cash Flow, and Net Financial Debt.
- Ensure financial reporting compliance with Group's policies and reporting standards (Spanish GAAP, IFRS…).
- Coordinate and communicate on a regular basis with the local Finance Teams of the different countries of the Group.
- Deliver best-in-class financial reporting, value-added analysis, and decision-support to the business, interpreting key performance drivers and business dynamics to optimize efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have +6 years of proven working experience in Finance, with at least 2-3 years in the Transaction Services department of a Big 4; or a candidate with previous Big 4 experience (Audit and / or Transaction Services) plus experience as a Financial & Business Controller in an important international company.
Education and Skills
- Proficient in Excel / High level in MS Office.
- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI or similar) will be an advantage.
- Very high English and Spanish level is a must.
- Planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze and consolidate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on a higher-level overview.
