Area Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation services.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics and transportation professionals to achieve business objectives and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Analyze and implement corrective actions to improve process efficiency, quality, and productivity across all shifts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues and external partners to standardize shift processes, analyze data, and discuss operational improvements.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and suggest process enhancements.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative work, including team management, daily operational tasks, and individual escalations.
As an Area Manager, you will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, and work with colleagues and external partners to achieve business objectives.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or working towards one.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
- Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in performing data analysis and working in a logistical environment.
- Communication Skills: Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Logistical Experience: Experience working in a logistical environment and using the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
