Key Responsibilities
- Customize and enhance the user experience of Jira and Confluence to align with business processes and best practices.
- Configure and manage Jira to optimize business processes and improve collaboration.
- Propose innovative ways to utilize Jira and Confluence to solve business challenges and improve collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of the Atlassian solutions roadmap that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and business needs.
- Participate in IT Service Management improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing Solution Delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the design and development of complex technical solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain, optimize, and scale existing systems and infrastructure to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve intricate technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical solutions, including design specifications, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities and performance.
- Lead reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices in engineering processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Jira and Confluence system administrator using Jira software and Jira Service Management.
- Experience with Jira Data Center (on-premises).
