As a Satellite System Engineer - Space Traffic Management, you'll be involved in activities within the areas of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM), including R&D tasks, software development, and related engineering and operational activities.
SST and STM are becoming increasingly important topics in the space sector due to the need to manage the growing population of objects orbiting the Earth, both space debris and operational satellites. Our team is working on various functions within SST and STM systems, such as space debris catalogue maintenance, conjunction assessment and collision avoidance, sensor network coordinated planning, SST system operations, etc.
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team located across several countries, with several projects currently ongoing. We use cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative solutions for the future. For this position, we're looking for candidates with knowledge in orbital mechanics, flight dynamics, programming languages like Python, Bash, Java, and C++, as well as MS Office.
