Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Description:

Veepee is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and redesign existing features of our products
  • Suggest on interfaces and other possible improvements that might be done
  • Write technical documentation
  • Keep the code clean and review your team members designs if needed
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of developed applications
  • Respect the production deadlines
  • Participate in all of the agility ceremonies and animate them sometimes
  • Monitor production and provide level 2 support when needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend developer
  • Excellent experience with C# /.NET
  • Good knowledge of relational databases
  • Strong IT mindset / good problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Microservice architecture and building APIs or other web services
  • Assure the quality of your code with unit and integration tests
  • Use code versioning tools such as Git
  • Agile as you are expected to attend ceremonies like daily stand-ups, retro, demo, backlog grooming, 3 amigos in a SCRUM or KANBAN methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Capable of learning new concepts quickly and gain autonomy within a short period

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce APEX development and know Lightning
  • Familiar with cloud computing tools and willing to extend your knowledge (you know Docker and maybe Kubernetes)
  • Bring new ideas and proposals to our team
  • Proactive and dynamic person, motivated to grow within tech teams
  • Motivated to use up-to-date technologies
  • Already have used Elastic stack / Rabbit MQ / KAFKA
  • Already have implemented Protocol Buffer / gRPC
