Cashier Liaison

About the Role:
SquarePeg is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to handle transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Key Responsibilities: Process Customer Purchases
• Accurately and efficiently use the cash register to process customer purchases.
• Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely.
Provide Excellent Customer Service
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards customers.
Maintain Checkout Area
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Restock shelves and supplies as needed to prevent stockouts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
