Job Title: Market Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Babel Profiles. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for generating advanced market and supply chain insights and analyses, and developing new intelligence and data products for our network of procurement, trading, and sales experts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research for raw materials and commodities
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations on market trends, supply chains, and price fluctuation
  • Understand and process data from diverse sources promptly, to provide neutral, quick, and beneficial market and trading insights for our clients
  • Communicate with clients and present insights professionally and efficiently
  • Act as the deputy for the head of research and drive the development of new research initiatives
  • Create and maintain Supply & Demand databases and forecasting models for key products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in economics, international trade, business administration & intelligence, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in strategic analysis, economic research, price reporting, or consulting
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
  • First experience and interest in data analysis is a plus (Data Studio, Phyton, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare reports and present complex topics concisely and clearly
  • Well-organized, attentive, proactive and able to work independently
