Role Description

Are you a tech-savvy self-starter looking for a challenging opportunity to make your mark in the fast-paced world of startups? ChattyHiring is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our Barcelona-based team.

This is a full-time hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work partly from the comfort of your own space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web applications using Ruby on Rails, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from front-end development to back-end architecture. You will be working closely with our CTO to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Develop front-end and back-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with the team to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Work closely with the CTO to drive growth and innovation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and bonus points for expertise in Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks
  • A knack for problem-solving and collaboration
  • English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
