About the Role:

We are seeking an Electronics Procurement Manager to join our team at Wallbox. As a key member of our procurement function, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality electronic components and materials to support our operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic products, preferably with experience in the Asian market. They will be able to identify alternative products and suppliers with capacity, as well as navigate the spot market for electronics. A minimum of 7-10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the electrical industry is required, with a strong track record of achieving economies of scale and developing strategic supplier relationships.

The Electronics Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and managing the overall supplier qualification process. They will also be responsible for coordinating and administering material returns, credits, and refusals, as well as special procurement projects as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. They will be able to work on their own initiative and manage teams, with a strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve economies of scale.

• Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to ensure the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.

• Manage the overall supplier qualification process, including supplier analysis and evaluation of potential new suppliers.

• Coordinate and administer material returns, credits, and refusals, as well as special procurement projects as required.

• Operate and implement purchasing software to manage procurement activities.

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for procurement, including terms and conditions.

• Manage teams and work on own initiative to deliver procurement objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Develop and implement plans to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Key Requirements:

• 7-10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the electrical industry.

• Strong background in electronic products, preferably with experience in the Asian market.

• Expertise in supplier optimization and supplier risk management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.

• Ability to work on own initiative and manage teams.

• Strong problem-solving ability and customer-focused approach.

• Knowledge of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Supply Management Certifications.

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
