About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining Ebury's Data Platform, serving data to the entire company. Our Data team is responsible for building ETLs and data pipelines, providing clean and transformed data for analysis, and automating end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy ELT/ETL data pipelines from various data sources, including transactional databases, REST APIs, and file-based endpoints.
  • Collaborate with the Data team to build and maintain Ebury's Data Platform, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in data modeling reviews and discussions to validate the model's accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain data models using solid software engineering practices.
About the Team

Our Data team is a collaborative and dynamic group of professionals who work closely together to achieve our data mission. We are seeking a Data Engineer who is passionate about data engineering, has a strong technical background, and is eager to learn and grow with our team.

Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of data/analytics engineering experience building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes on big data environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices in data (SDLC, RFC).
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and industry standards in Data.
  • Fluency in English.
