Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Medical Consultant to join our team in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a vital role in providing scientific and clinical support to medico-marketing activities and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Medical Director: Collaborate with the Medical Director to carry out day-to-day operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of medical affairs projects.
  2. Coordinate Medical Activities: Oversee the Iberia Medical Team involved in medical affairs activities related to mature, new products, and new launches in Spain and Portugal, aligning with our company's needs.
  3. Scientific Support: Provide high-quality scientific and clinical support to medico-marketing activities and field-based teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes of practice.
  4. Relationship Building: Establish and develop strong relationships with key external customers, including KOLs, professional groups, patient organizations, and regulatory bodies.
  5. Pharmacovigilance: Report all adverse events promptly and accurately to the Iberia PV responsible for processing, in accordance with local regulations and Norgine SOPs.
  6. Training and Development: Provide training services for Norgine partners, research, construct, and write scientific materials to support the sales force, and validate the medical and scientific content of all training materials.

Requirements

  • Medically qualified with a license to practice (Registered Physician)
  • Medical Affairs experience, ideally in a relevant therapeutic area, including customer-facing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, ideally Portuguese as well
  • Knowledge of local legislation guidelines covering medical activities in Spain

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
