Staff Analog Design Engineer - Automotive BMS

About the Role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a highly skilled Staff Analog Design Engineer to join our Automotive BMS Product Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing analog circuits, including LDOs, Charge Pumps, Bandgaps, Amplifiers, and other precision circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog circuits for Automotive BMS applications
  • Determine block tradeoffs and topology selection
  • Participate in the entire product development cycle, from product definition to product introduction
  • Determine design-for-test strategies to evaluate block performance
  • Provide guidance to layout engineers on critical analog implementation aspects
  • Work with a team of engineers to evaluate intended product behavior pre tape-out and post tape-out

Requirements

  • BSEE/MSEE or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in analog design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of transistor level design and low power design techniques
  • Experience in BCD process and mixed signal design
