About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Practitioner Trainer to join our team at Skillsoft. As a Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our clients, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the cloud computing industry.

Your primary responsibility will be to represent Skillsoft while delivering training courses in accordance with vendor specifications and our quality procedures. You will also provide sales support, stay up-to-date with technology and industry changes, and provide feedback to delegates on sales leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling managers.
  • Ensure training courses are delivered to the required quality standards as detailed in our quality procedures.
  • Adhere to vendor-specific requirements, including obtaining and renewing certificates and following examination and invigilation guidelines.
  • Pursue agreed development plans and ensure preparation time and team assessments are utilized to achieve these plans.
  • Attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques.
  • Deliver courses at all Skillsoft centres and customer sites when required.
  • Keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.
  • Provide sales support in the form of qualified leads and customer visits.
  • Be responsive to contact requests, information, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage the classroom to optimize the training experience.
  • Work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure trainer utilization meets or exceeds company requirements.
  • Represent the Skillsoft values, demonstrating a can-do and positive attitude at all times.
  • Establish, build, and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
Requirements
  • Exam passes in AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials and Architecting on AWS Class.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for this role.
