Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Educator to join our team at International Schools Partnership.
As a Secondary School Teacher Leader, you will play a key role in providing an enriching education to our students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting academic excellence.
About the Role:
- Enable students to learn in a safe, open, caring, collaborative, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Know and model your school's values and contribute to its mission and vision through your daily actions.
- Put learners and their learning first.
- Design and facilitate learning outcomes, content, and experiences that are underpinned by positive and supportive relationships.
- Gather, document, and analyze evidence of learning from various sources.
- See yourself as a leader for learning and demonstrate the same vision, values, and commitment as school leaders.
- Create and use spaces to support and demonstrate the school's shared ideas about learners and learning.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers, communicating with them regularly about their child's learning.
- Be committed to learning and getting better and ensure this improvement happens strategically and effectively.
- Be responsible for ensuring the Safeguarding and Welfare of all pupils in the class.
- Provide learning opportunities which enable each child to get better.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, progress, and the overall welfare of pupils in the class.
- Plan learning activities for the class, in accordance with the curriculum.
- Liaise with colleagues in the department to ensure consistent and collaborative curriculum coverage and delivery.
- Maintain an ordered, stimulating, and positive classroom environment.
- Mark pupils' class-work and homework within a reasonable and agreed period.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCEDegree or equivalent in relevant subject(s)
- Good up-to-date subject knowledge and practical skills
- Successful secondary teaching experience
- Ability to motivate children of differing abilities
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and exam specifications
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
