We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Trust and Safety team at Rover. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in fostering trust and ensuring safety within our vibrant community of pet owners and care providers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative features that uphold the integrity of our services and prevent fraud across our platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats to our users and the platform.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and supportable solutions that meet the needs of our users and the business.
- Work closely with our product managers, designers, and data scientists to drive a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of our continuous deployment pipeline, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer.
- Strong and proven knowledge of ReactJS or React Native.
- Familiarity with Python or another backend language.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of relational databases and schema design.
- Passionate about automated testing, code quality, and general software engineering best practices.
