Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our Technology Team at Ebury. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing backend functionalities that streamline operations and enhance customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement API integrations to connect various systems and services.
- Develop and maintain backend processes using Node.Js/Deno within the Google Cloud Platform and Google Apps Script.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance of backend systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
- Use low-code tools to automate simple processes by understanding the best platform fit depending on the needs.
- Software development experience, preferably with a focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform/Google Apps Script is valued but not required.
- Experience with NodeJS, even better with Deno.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies and skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with international colleagues.
- Commercial software development experience with Javascript and connection with third-party API.
