About the Role

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team at Swiss Re - Schweizerische Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft. As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and respond to cyber threats, ensuring the security and resilience of our operations.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate security standards, procedures, and protocols to prevent and mitigate cyber incidents.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.
  • Develop and improve existing detection content and playbooks to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Provide on-duty/on-call support to address urgent security incidents and ensure business continuity.
  • Investigate and analyze complex security incidents, identifying root causes and developing recommendations for improvement.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in threat analysis, incident response, and security operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of current threat landscapes, offensive tooling, and industry-standard techniques such as OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with malware and exploit analysis, as well as log file correlation and analysis.
