Festo, a global leader in engineering, is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our Digital Hub in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation across the company.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with a strong background in React, Redux, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for building and maintaining complex Single Page Applications, collaborating with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders. Your expertise will be essential in adapting our existing architecture to use Module Federation for micro-frontend implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Adapt and improve our existing architecture to leverage micro-frontend implementations.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality features within an iterative development cycle.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of our team's technical skills.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing front-end applications using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
