We are seeking a full-time Material Planner in Madrid (Villaverde) for this exciting opportunity.

About Your Role:
  • Manage material needs aligned with HI strategy and Cash Flow objectives, overseeing MRP process configuration for optimal material availability and rotation.
  • Act as the primary interface between Projects and Operations, ensuring timely material availability for short-term, mid-term, and long-term requirements.
  • Drive the purchase order process and manage suppliers, monitoring their performance in terms of OTIF and non-conformity.
Your Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Engineering Operations and Projects teams to determine material needs.
  2. Develop strategic stock management policies in line with project budgets and unit objectives regarding Cash Flow.
  3. Consolidate operational and production needs from Bill of Materials for correct MRP module execution.
  4. Manage Material Master data for accurate MRP performance, optimizing purchase requests through lot size and frequency adjustments.
  5. Enhance material visibility for production and operations.
  6. Analyze inventory levels to define procurement strategies.
  7. Create action plans for inventory reduction and increased rotation.
  8. Anticipate potential stock shortages and material supply needs, providing visibility to Sourcing for supplier negotiations.
  9. Place purchase orders, manage acknowledgments, follow up on deliveries, and control delivery schedules.
  10. Oversee supplier non-conformities.
About You:
  • Education: Technical Engineer or Industrial Superior degree.
  • Languages: English (Essential), French (Valuable).
  • SAP knowledge at MRP user level (Valuable).
  • Advanced proficiency in office package software.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in similar roles within the Supply Chain field.
  • Experience will be valued in Planning, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems and Planning Tools.
  • Availability to travel is required.
