Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Visual UI Designer to join our multi-disciplinary web design and production team. As a Visual UI Designer at Canonical, you will play a vital role in the success of Ubuntu, our partners, customers, and the larger Ubuntu community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design clear, stylish presentations that aid the user experience of our products
  • Produce real content and information that is at the core of the designs
  • Have a deep understanding of typography, color, and layout, and a commitment to usability, accessibility, and web standards
Requirements
  • Excellent academic results at school and university
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Art/Design
  • Exceptional design talent with experience in branding, including visual identities and brand experiences
  • Knowledge and passion for user experience, technology, and design
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
