About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Principal Piping Designer to lead all technical activities related to piping design in process units for Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping design, with expertise in software such as E3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
Responsibilities
- Takes full responsibility for designing activities of assigned units.
- Reports to the project piping leader.
- Learns and handles applicable job specifications, piping classes, standards, and working instructions needed for correct development of assigned work.
- Transmits instructions to and manages an assigned design team.
- Develops critical designs and supports less experienced designers.
- Covers civil, stress, material, and support interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree.
- More than 6 years of work experience in similar function.
- Relevant experience in companies providing engineering services to Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (B1 level).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Experience and knowledge of Softwares: E3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
